Olso. The DMC Fred.Olsen Travel A/S, founded in 1949, announces the opening of Kirkenes SnowHotel in northern Norway on 20th of December, 2008. Other ice hotels are the Alta Igloo Hotel, which celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2009 opening 16 January. For this season, 30 twin rooms are planned. For the adventurous: there is also a lavvo camp for over nights out on the plateau reachable by snow scooters. With their conference room and restaurant in a permanent facility it is a unique conference venue.
