Following the fourth edition of the Finnish iGaming Conference in Helsinki on 10 and 11 September 2026, the event will move to the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre next year. The Northern Europe Gaming Conference will take place on 16 and 17 September 2027 as Finland prepares to introduce a partial licensing system for gambling from 1 July 2027.

New Helsinki venue to support expanded gaming industry event

The new event format will bring together conference sessions and an extensive exhibition for the gambling industry in Northern Europe. The event will be held at Solar, the future event venue of the centre, which is scheduled to open in autumn 2027. The venue is designed as a modern event space for international conferences and exhibitions. According to Pertti Koskenniemi, Chair of the Board of Finnish iGaming Events Oy, the new setting will support the expansion of the event and strengthen its international profile. Anne Bask, Business Manager at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre, says Solar will provide a suitable setting for the international conference and exhibition.
