My favourites spots in Brussels…

Restaurants:
For lovers of truffle and other gourmet delicacies, Kwint on Mont des Arts, is a must. Decorated by Arne Quinze and a part of SQUARE-Brussels Meeting Centre, the restaurant has a giant terrace overlooking the illuminated park offers a stunning view on the Town Hall, just a stones’ throw away from the Grand’Place. Quiet outside eating in summer!
My next tip is a special location. Chalet Robinson is placed on an island in the woods of La Cambre. You can only access the island by boat, which adds to the feel of the place. It is also a perfect location to organise events.
For really nice seafood in the center of Brussels, I recommend Seagrill by the renowned chef Yves Mattagne. This 2 Michelin Stars restaurant was completely renovated a couple of months ago. It now has a spaced interior, creating the perfect feel for business lunches as well as for elegant diners.

Bars:
The Belga attracts all the trendy tribes of Brussels,  musicians, writers, EU civil servants, journalists, business people, everybody goes to the magnificent open bar situated on the newly refurbished Flagey square. You can bump into celebrities there anytime… When in couple, stroll around the romantic Ixelles ponds.
Loved in the Sofitel Toison d’Or hotel, the Crystal Lounge is a place to be and to be seen. The bartender offers incredible molecular cocktails. This design bar is widely known among the business community.
Moeder Lambic is the beers’ Mecca! On the menu only genuine beers and non pasteurized cheese. Beer here is respected to its upmost. Do try a cheese degustation platter accompanied with the authentic Kriek , a delicious beer made with sour morello cherries. The place can be privatized as well and they often offer concerts, jazz of course. The total Brussels experience!

Hot Spots:
Go to the Chatelain area on Wednesday afternoon, when the beautiful market enlightens the whole neighborhood. It is the ideal place for an early appetitive before going to one of the many good restaurants in the area. The exquisite boutiques in the area, and more specifically the Rue du Bailli and its surrounding streets, make it the perfect shopping place.
For those more interested in what’s hip and happening in design and fashion, I suggest the Dansaert area. The place to discover renown and young Brussels designers.
If a dinner and a show is your idea of an ideal evening, I strongly suggest going to Viage, our brand new casino. Next to the gambling part, you can also enjoy a show and dinner in the beautiful theater. The rooftop restaurant and terrace offer a breathtaking view on Brussels!
