International MICE Summit 2024 Concludes in Riyadh

The International MICE Summit 2024 (IMS24) concluded successfully, with over 1,600 delegates, including 50 CEOs, 6 national Ministers, and representatives from 73 countries, convening to shape the future of the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector. Under the theme “Expanding Horizons,” the three-day summit featured 20 plenary sessions and 19 workshops focusing on sustainability, technology, and the MICE industry’s role as a driver of economic growth and cross-border collaboration.

Saudi Arabia Emerges as a Global MICE Destination

With 15 key announcements, including new office openings by RX Global, Messe Munich, and Clarion, and 12 upcoming event launches, IMS24 reinforced the Kingdom’s strategic importance under Vision 2030. Eight Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed, fostering collaboration between event organizers, regulators, and public entities. Industry leaders such as H.E. Ahmed Al-Khateeb and Lord Stephen Carter highlighted the MICE sector’s transformative potential in driving innovation, sustainability, and long-term economic value.
