The Meetings Industry Association (MIA) has published the programme for its 2025 annual conference, themed Equipped to Excel, highlighting practical sessions on people, performance and organisational resilience.

The one-day conference is structured to generate practical responses to changing employee expectations and to align individual purpose with business objectives. Sessions will target workforce resilience, performance mindsets and future readiness, with a programme designed for immediate application in organisational settings. The day runs from 09:30 to 16:15 and is followed in the evening by the separately ticketed miaList awards. The event takes place on 6 November at The Belfry Hotel & Resort, with early-bird tickets available until 12 September.

Keynotes, timetable and ticketing information

Confirmed speakers include Sarah Furness (opening keynote on resilience, former RAF combat helicopter pilot), Ben Hunt-Davis MBE (performance and team focus, Olympic gold medallist) and Dr Jaz Ampaw-Farr (closing session on personal and professional reframing). The conference comprises keynote sessions and practical workshops; a gala dinner and awards ceremony will take place on the same evening.
