The Meetings Industry Association (MIA) has announced a one-week extension to the entry deadline for the 2026 miaList. Nominations, which were originally scheduled to close on 17 July, can now be submitted until 5pm on 24 July. The awards recognise achievements across the UK’s business meetings and events industry and include 14 categories covering venues, events, suppliers, agencies, teams and individual contributions.

miaList 2026 winners to be announced in November

The 2026 programme includes categories such as Event of the Year, Venue of the Year, ESG Initiative, Inclusive Events Initiative, Supplier of the Year and Agency of the Year. The Inspirational Leader of the Year Award will again be presented in memory of Gail Tomlinson-Short. Nominations are open to professionals across the UK business meetings and events sector, while the individual miaList category is reserved for MIA members. The shortlist will be announced on 12 August, and the winners will be revealed at the miaList awards ceremony on 4 November at the East Midlands Conference Centre.
