Texas. Meeting Professionals International (MPI) announces the launch of this year’s World Education Congress (WEC) event website. The event will take place in scenic Vancouver, Canada from July 24 – 27, 2010.
WEC 2010 will focus on demonstrating the value of meetings in today’s business climate through education on corporate responsibility, strategic meetings management and technology, which in turn, empowers attendees to take what they have learned and bring it to life in their own organizations.
As an extension of the MPI Cares program – which provides content and added value to members during the industry’s recent challenges – MPI will be offering a short term WEC offer with registration, available immediately. This offer, beginning Thursday, April 8 and continuing through Friday, April 23, is designed to provide members, and potential members who wish to attend WEC, an unprecedented value proposition. A rate of $399 will be available to MPI member planners and to member suppliers who register a non-member planner during this two week period.
After the two week registration period expires, MPI will offer the same rates to attend WEC as last year.
