Business Events in Malaysia is ‘bouncing back’ according to the country’s national convention bureau, Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) as it unveiled 18 international business events to be held in the country for the month of August 2022.

“Malaysia’s significant breakthrough is reflected by MyCEB’s effort of securing a line-up of 14 Conventions, and 4 Trade Exhibitions to be held just in August 2022 alone. These business events are expected to bring together close to 24,000 total delegates”, YB Dato’ Sri Hajah Nancy Shukri, the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) Malaysia said in a press release.

Significant events happening in August include the Malaysian Society of Anaesthesiologists & College of Anaesthesiologist Annual Scientific Congress, which will be a hybrid event, the Asia Pacific Glaucoma Congress (APGC), and IPMEX Malaysia 2022.

“The period in review saw MyCEB providing support towards 18 business events compared to pre-pandemic times, whereby we had a total of 14 conventions and exhibitions in August 2019”, Dato’ Sri Abdul Khani Daud, Chief Executive Officer of MyCEB added.
