New in town 2021: the Hilton Copenhagen City Centre

The Hilton brand is set to return to Copenhagen in a converted 1950s shipyard HQ by the harbourfront. Following a franchise agreement with BC Hospitality Group A/S, the new hotel will become part of Hilton Hotels & Resorts.

Summer 2021. The new Hilton hotel will be located in the Christianshavn neighbourhood next to the Knippelsbro harbour bridge. Remodelled by Danish studio Arkitema Architects, the seven-story hotel will offer 400 rooms including 44 suites. Penthouse suites will be placed on the top floor.

The hotel will feature an executive lounge, lobby and two restaurants, one of which will face the waterfront promenade where you will also find the hotel bar and café. The hotel fitness centre and the hotel restaurant kitchens will be visible from street level. A transparent extension to the hotel on the level of the harbour bridge will offer 600m2 of meeting and function space.

Hilton Copenhagen City Centre  will have a capacity of 400 rooms and suites and is set to open in the summer of 2021, reports Visit Denmark.
