MCI, the world's largest conference organiser, has revealed its 2016 Sustainability Report: "A Decade of Dedication". It is the eighth sustainability report launched to date and highlights the new paths to follow for addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
According to the report, within the last ten years MCI has reduced carbon emissions by 12 percent, raised over €5.7 million for 468 community projects, trained over 33,361 suppliers, clients and employees and managed 850 high-profile sustainability and energy related projects.
Furthermore, the company has earned 20 sustainability awards for its sustainability consulting services, ISO certification and sustainability reporting.
MCI says it organised 112 events around sustainability in 60 countries and won 2 awards from the Global Business Travel Association for its commitment to sustainability.
