Expansion: Helmsbriscoe adds 1000th Associate

Scottsdale, USA. The announcement was made from the company’s Global Forum, recently held in Malta, which offered training, workshops and networking opportunities for hundreds of associates, suppliers and partners.

“The continued growth of Helmsbriscoe, as evidenced by this significant milestone, is testament to the value we deliver for meeting planners everyday across the globe,” said Founder and CEO Roger Helms. “In these volatile times, clients are relying more heavily on our global presence and volume purchasing power to get the highest return on their investment. We are proactively addressing meeting planners’ needs by expanding our network of associates and equipping them with the technology and training needed to deliver superior service.”

The firm unveiled technology advancements at the Forum that will enable associates to more quickly respond to customer needs and expedite communications with partner hotels. Specifically, Helmsbriscoe Insite is a proprietary database that includes the documented experiences of associates and clients with destinations and hotels. New improvements to the system include filters that will allow associates to narrow search results, the ability to post video of properties and experiences for other associates to view, and an improved look and feel.

Ian Quartermaine, Managing Director of the international division, added “We have been very pleased with the incredible international associate growth we have been able to sustain these past 12 months. The growth of our brand reinforces the global consistency of our service delivery we offer our customers, whether they are in Beijing, Buenos Aires, Sydney, Hong Kong, Rome, Geneva, Bangalore, Dubai or Paris, Texas. We are proud of the quality of our associates and the unique perspectives they bring because of their extensive hospitality expertise. Armed with these advanced technologies, like HB Express 2.0 and training, the results they deliver for clients are truly unmatched in the industry.

HB Express 2.0, the company’s RFP sourcing technology, is being improved to include international templates, the ability to include attachments, and the option of inputting acceptable date ranges rather than specific dates. In addition, the company’s proprietary promotions calendar will now include details of canceled space, which can offer significant savings to clients if inventory is available within their chosen destination.
