Geneva. MCI today announced the opening of a new office in Istanbul, Turkey. MCI first launched its services in Turkey just over a year ago with the acquisition of Ankara-based 3Events, a promising start-up focused on corporate and association event management. Ufuk Yavuz Tümer, one of the three founders of 3Events, will lead the new office in Istanbul, with a focus on developing business in the corporate meetings, events and incentives and destination management (DMC) markets.

The launch of MCI Istanbul will reinforce MCI’s capacity to offer its unique services and solutions to organisations across the India, Middle East & Africa (IMEA) region and expand service offerings to clients interested in engaging audiences and hosting congresses and events in this fast-growing market.
