Featuring a fresh new colour palette the campaign is the third in a three year strategy, using the theme’s aime higher (2008), aime for more (2009) and aime for the best (2010). “Our marketing strategy positions AIME as the leader in the region, using themes that reflect the high standard of AIME substantiated by its hosted buyer program and audited results,” said Event Director, Rosemarie Sama.
AIME 2010 will be held on 2 & 3 March at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Australia. The event is the largest of its kind in the region attracting more than 850 exhibitors and up to 500 hosted buyers.
Earlier this year, against a backdrop of economic uncertainty, AIME 2009 set new records. Audited results showed an increase in total attendance by 10% to 3,581, including 467 Hosted Buyers and 71 media. Exhibitor numbers set a new record with 854 exhibiting companies from 50 countries participating, an increase of 3.8% on 2008. First time exhibitors rose by 22% from 244 to 298. www.aime.com.au
