Site Classic 2010: Unveiled for the Bahamas

USA. The Site International Foundation has announced that The Cove, Atlantis will serve as the host location for the 2010 Site Classic, 3 – 6 November 2010.  Located on Paradise Island, Bahamas, The Cove will provide an exceptional backdrop for industry planners and partners to engage in networking and educational sessions.

"At Site Classic 2010, delegates will have access to the latest research," said 2010 Site International Foundation President, Fay Beauchine, CITE, President, Engagement & Events Carlson Marketing. "As always, we will learn about new trends and developments while experiencing one of the world’s most remarkable properties and destinations."

Following the success of the 2009 event in Ft Worth, Texas, education will again be a valuable part of the program with daily education sessions and the release of the foundation’s latest research and Site Index report.  The Site Classic Golf Tournament will be held at the Tom Wesikopf-designed Ocean Club Golf Course.  Recognized as one of the finest golf courses in the world, the Ocean Club Golf Course is an 18-hole par 72 championship course which stretches over 7100 yards on Paradise Island's peninsula. Providing stunning views of the beautiful Bahamian coastline, the Ocean Club Golf Course is one of the most spectacular and challenging venues to play golf.

The 2010 Site Classic will also highlight the lifestyle activities it has come to be known for.  In the Bahamas, these activities will include options such as shallow water interaction at Dolphin Cay, snorkeling on Sea Horse Sailing Adventure, deep sea fishing, scuba diving and the extremely pop ular Site Classic culinary competition.

"Kerzner International Resorts and The Cove Atlantis are proud to welcome the Site Classic in 2010," said Chris Wheeler, Executive Director, Global Incentive Sales. "Site is uniquely focused on the motivational events sector and this particular event lets you get personal with key industry leaders while also speaking to buyers and planners of incentive travel programs.  All of us at Atlantis, Paradise Island are honored to be chosen as the 2010 location for the Site Classic and look forward to showing our Bahamian hospitality."

Partners for the 2010 Site Classic also include:  Atlantis, Paradise Island, Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board, Sunbound, Cacique International Ltd., Sunsplash Events, and Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort.
