Australia. The Australasian Oil and Gas Exhibition (AOG) was named Best Trade Show Over 10,000 sqm and Best Australian Show at the Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia (EEAA) Awards for Excellence gala event. 

Held at Perth Convention Exhibition Centre (PCEC) from 17 – 19 February, AOG 2009 attracted more than 300 local and international exhibitors and recorded a 100 per cent increase in visitor numbers from 2007. In accepting the award, Bill Hare, AOG Executive Director acknowledged the assistance and support of the Government of Western Australia, City of Perth and PCEC in making AOG 2009 a great success.

PCEC General Manager, Dean Lee congratulated AOG on their win.   “The outstanding recognition that AOG has received for this international event is a great reflection, not only of the professionalism and management of Diversified Exhibitions, but also the quality of service and assistance that PCEC provides in supporting large scale events in Western Australia.”
