Penang to Host World Research Travel Conference 2024

The World Research Travel Conference 2024 will take place in Penang from 3rd to 7th November 2024 at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre, organized by the World Research Travel Organization (WRTO) and supported by the Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB). The event will gather global experts and leaders to discuss the future of research travel and sustainable growth in this emerging sector.

Celebrating Malaysia-China Relations and Sustainable Research Travel

Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Malaysia and China, the conference will feature China as a guest country for the first time. With a focus on research travel, which combines education and tourism, the event will also emphasize sustainability, fostering environmental and social responsibility within the travel industry.
