Green Globe. Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre has been awarded the Green Globe. The certificate, which is awarded under the international Green Globe benchmarking programme, confirms that the convention centre has a very responsible approach to climate change issues. Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre is one of two convention centres world-wide to receive this award. “It is really quite a coup and we are extremely proud to be the first Asian convention centre to be recognised for operating with these environmental performance standards,” says Geoff Hayward, Director of Facilities of Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. www.klccconventioncentre.com
