Plymouth, ranked as the UK’s best city for quality of life in the Demos-PwC Good Growth for Cities Index, will showcase its potential as a destination for conferences and events at a showcase on January 23, 2025.

On January 23, 2025, Plymouth will host a showcase at Home Park Stadium, highlighting its diverse range of venues and services for the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) industry. Featured locations include a monastery, a zoo, a castle, and waterfront hotels, offering options for various event formats.

Known for its maritime heritage and as the site of the UK’s first National Marine Park, Plymouth also offers unique activities to complement events, such as kayaking, gin tasting, and boat trips. Destination Plymouth CEO Amanda Lumley emphasizes the city’s appeal, citing its strong quality-of-life credentials and wide range of facilities.

Showcase to Present Plymouth’s MICE Opportunities

The showcase aims to attract organisations looking for distinctive event settings. Plymouth combines a historic maritime backdrop with modern facilities and excellent hospitality, making it an appealing choice for both local and international MICE planners. Exhibitors will include Dartmoor Zoo, Boringdon Hall Hotel, and Pentillie Castle & Estate. The event will run from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
