Device. “The Poken” will be introduced introduced at IMEX on the association day. All association participants then get a “Poken”. This is a small device (size of a memory stick) that all participants receive at registration, with compliments of Abbit Meeting Support, and Maarten Vanneste; probably the biggest innovator in the industry. If attendees hold their own Poken against someone else’s, both Pokens exchange contact details like an electronic business card. Once home, every participant can connect to all other participants via outlook contacts, LinkedIn, Facebook or other social networks. “It is Ideal to enhance the networking! And wasn’t networking voted the number one objective for association conferences at last year’s Association Day?,” Maarten Vanneste, President and CEO of Abbit Meeting Support asks.
