3 Events. Japan’s first international tourism event Japan Travel Week is held from September 24th (Wed) to 30th (Tue) in Tokyo and 150,000 participants are expected. During the Japan Travel Week, the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) and the Japan Tourism Agency (JTA) jointly organize Japan’s largest inbound travel tradeshow “Visit Japan Travel Mart 2014”, and Japan’s only MICE trade mart focusing on incentive trips “Visit Japan MICE Mart 2014.”
In addition, the Japan Travel and Tourism Association and the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) hold the “JATA Tourism EXPO Japan 2014”, one of the world’s largest travel shows both for the tourism industry and the public. In this event, industry representatives gather from 150 countries/regions around the world, and about 150,000 are expected during the 4-day event.
At Japan Travel Week, travel buyers and sellers from countries/regions around the world also assemble to present the latest travel information, conduct business exchanges, and discuss development and growth of the travel market.
