The AIPC Quality Standards Programme is the only certification programme designed exclusively for convention and exhibition centres. The external audit evaluates performance across eleven key management areas: customer service, facilities and operations, employee relations, health, safety and security, financial integrity, environmental responsibility, community relations, industry relations, inclusivity and supplier relations.

According to AIPC, centres that complete the audit consistently report that the process not only validates their ongoing efforts but also provides valuable insights for further enhancement and team engagement.

The AIPC Quality Standards Programme provides convention centres worldwide with an independent framework for assessing management and operational performance. The Gold Level represents the highest achievable certification tier. For event planners sourcing venues for international congresses and business events, the certification can serve as a useful benchmark when evaluating potential destinations and facilities.
