Jaipur. Reed Travel Exhibitions has postponed its Indian meetings show ibtm india 2015 – announced from 1-3 September in Jaipur – to 2016.
“After two successful editions of ibtm india, we have decided to take time out in 2015 to undertake further research and analysis of India’s dynamic and growing MICE market,” informs Sallie Coventry portfolio director for ibtm events. “As with all our events, we want to tailor our product for our audience as well as our industry partners, making sure that it has the same brand values as the rest of the ibtm events portfolio, before announcing the 2016 dates and venue over the coming months.”
The second edition of IBTM India, which took place from 3 to 5 September at the five-star ITC Grand Chola Hotel in Chennai, ended successfully. The one-to-one pre-scheduled appointment system guaranteed some 2,000 appointments for 75 hosted buyers and suppliers. Hosted Buyers represented 17 countries and also came from 13 key cities in India. Exhibitors represented 19 countries.
