Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak) took part in MICE Meeting Point Beijing on 11–12 September 2025 and registered multiple enquiries from Chinese corporate buyers and travel agents.

Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak) attended MICE Meeting Point Beijing, where a delegation comprising Deputy CEO Jason Tan Chin Foo and Adrian Goh, Business Development Manager for Corporate Meetings and Incentives, met corporate buyers and travel agents. The delegation presented Sarawak’s meeting infrastructure, cultural experiences and its legacy impact strategy during conference sessions and the event’s B2B marketplace at the Hyatt Regency Beijing Wangjing. These engagements produced multiple follow-up enquiries.

China arrivals and MICE market data

Sarawak recorded 28,815 arrivals from China in the first five months of 2025. Annual arrivals rose from 39,243 in 2023 to 74,721 in 2024, an increase of 90.4 %. BESarawak has set a target of 100,000 Chinese visitors for 2025. MICE Meeting Point is a sector event for the Chinese MICE and business travel industry that includes conference sessions and a B2B marketplace.
