Dawn Lauder succeeds Kathleen Warden, who is stepping down after 25 years to assume a new advisory role. Lauder, who joined the Scottish Event Campus in 2009 and previously served as Head of Association Sales, played a significant role in securing major international events such as COP26. Joining the executive team as CFO, Andrew Healy brings extensive financial experience from previous roles at DM Hall, Scottish Rugby, and the Law Society of Scotland. Chief Executive Dominic McKay noted that these appointments are intended to support the long-term investment strategy and growth ambitions of the campus.
Operational Growth and Economic Impact of the SEC Centre
The new appointments coincide with a period of high activity across the SEC Centre, SEC Armadillo, and OVO Hydro venues. In 2025, the campus delivered 52 conferences and 55 exhibitions. Kathleen Warden was instrumental in the SEC becoming the first “Healthy Venue” and a founding member of the Net Zero Carbon Events movement. The campus continues to focus on enhancing its international reputation and delivering economic benefits to the Scottish region.
