Berlin. The 12th Showtech, International Trade Fair and Congress for Event and Media Technology 2005, was a great success. On balance, it attracted 6,868 trade visitors (up 4.8 per cent). One visitor in four (25.2 per cent) came from outside Germany to see the novelties in stage, lighting, audio and studio technology presented by 309 exhibitors (2003: 270) from 23 nations. The next Showtech will be from 19 to 21 June 2007 at Berlin Fair. www.showtech.de
