The annual SITE Classic wrapped up last week on the island of Maui, hosting senior industry leaders for a program that emphasized collaboration, cultural immersion, and responsible incentive practices. Over the course of three days, participants engaged in thought leadership sessions, experienced the natural and cultural richness of Hawai’i, and contributed to the SITE Foundation’s mission of advancing the incentive travel profession.
SITE Classic blends education, culture, and community impact
This year’s program showcased a balance of professional learning and destination discovery. Highlights included the release of early insights from the 2025 Incentive Travel Index, roundtable discussions on industry challenges, and a co-created playbook of actionable strategies. Hawaiian values were woven throughout the experience, from opening Oli chants and kapa art presentations to a CSR activity focused on watershed protection. Alongside immersive excursions by land, sea, and air, attendees also participated in fundraising efforts that generated USD $ 295,000 for scholarships, research, and industry support through the SITE Foundation.
