On April 5th the Big Opening will be celebrated in the Outletcity Metzingen. A total of 16 other well-known brands will then present themselves mainly in flagship stores. These include Versace, Philipp Plein, Karl Lagerfeld, Breitling, Fabiana Filippi, Patrizia Pepe and many more.
The new culinary offerings from April include the internationally renowned Café Starbucks, the Marché Mövenpick with market-fresh dishes and the first store of the ice cream specialist Amorino in southwest Germany.
The new shops form the first phase of an extensive expansion of the outlet city, which is well connected 30 kilometres south of Stuttgart and not far from Stuttgart Airport.
The 5th of April will be celebrated with special promotions, such as opening hours from 10 a.m. to midnight instead of the usual 8 p.m., musical highlights, offers reduced by up to 70 percent* and a Meet & Greet with well-known influencers such as Nina Süss, André Hamann and many other renowned stars of the blogosphere.
Meanwhile, the Outletcity also presents itself to companies and event planners as an exciting incentive destination that can be easily combined with other programmes in and around Stuttgart. Thus the offer of the well over 80 shops can be explored individually accompanied by a personal shopper. The combination with a limousine service is just as possible as with a ride in the McLaren or Lamborghini Huracàn. Business partners are supported by the Outletcity team in the planning and organisation of individual events.
Just recently, the Outletcity Metzingen was named the European leader in economic performance in the Outlet Centre Performance Report Europe 2018. There is a regular "shopping shuttle" to Stuttgart city centre.
