What does an equestrian facility built well over a century ago have to do with conferences and meetings? According to the Maritim Hotel Stuttgart: everything! Since integrating the building into their hotel complex in 1993, the Equestrian Hall has played host to one unforgettable event after another. Comprehensive renovations throughout the Maritim Hotel Stuttgart were completed in 2016. Part of the modernisations included upgrading the hotel’s 15 conference rooms. Since then, the 15 conference rooms have been equipped to the latest technical standards and with high-quality furniture.
That is also true for Stuttgart’s Old Equestrian Hall. The structure of glass and steel has been completed 1885 in the style of Italian Renaissance architecture by the architect Robert von Reinhardt, who left his mark on many of Stuttgart’s constructions. The skeletal steel roof girders are enhanced by the large glass front that allows for copious amounts of natural lighting for the basilical interior. Two spectacular chandeliers let the artistry of the Old Equestrian Hall’s industrial architecture shine even warmer and more glamorous. This makes the hall an ideal backdrop for festive events such as Christmas parties, company anniversaries, weddings and dancing championships. Conference-appropriate seating arrangements also ensure that those attending business gatherings in the Equestrian Hall are enjoying its unforgettable atmosphere. The facility can host up to 750 participants. The Maritim Hotel Stuttgart’s internal conference infrastructure, or the event spaces in the adjoining Liederhalle Culture and Congress Centre, can be used in combination, should organisers require more room.
