Where is Germany's oldest sparkling wine cellar?

Where is Germany's oldest sparkling wine cellar, whose noble wines you can find on the CIM booth during the IMEX Frankfurt on May 15th to try from 17 o`clock?

Sektkellerei Kessler

Near Stuttgart, a very special experience awaits to be integrated into event concepts: The fact that Esslingen has the oldest sparkling wine cellar in Germany today is due to Georg Christian von Kessler. He learned the "méthode traditional" in Champagne and brought this valuable knowledge to Württemberg more than 190 years ago. Today, the sparkling wine is still shaken by hand to maturity in the medieval cellar of the parent company in Esslingen. Guided tours, tastings and diverse locations guarantee enjoyable moments outside the gates of the state capital.
