Announced on 2 October 2025, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) have formalised a joint campaign and programme of activities aimed at strengthening Thailand’s position in the global MICE market. The collaboration combines incentives, venue standards and logistical coordination to encourage higher-value events while supporting measurable business outcomes for organisers.
MICE incentives, eligibility and campaign support
The TAT x TCEB “Thailand Power Up” initiative runs from October 2025 through July 2026 and offers two types of assistance: Financial grants and non-financial services. The latter includes community souvenirs, a dedicated MICE Premium Lane on arrival, coordination with government agencies, cultural performances and Thailand-style hospitality. Eligible events must host at least 100 participants from long-haul markets or 200 participants from short-haul markets. They need to include a minimum four-night stay, and use venues registered under Thai law or meeting the Thailand MICE Venue Standard (TMVS). Requests for support must be submitted at least 30 days before the event.
As part of the programme, TCEB and TAT will co-host inVOYAGE Global 2026, expected to gather 200–300 senior MICE professionals. They will also run a series of international roadshows targeting markets including China, Taiwan, Korea, Germany, the UK, the CIS and Kazakhstan.
