At Gastech 2025 (9–12 September) Thailand’s delegation, led by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau alongside the Ministry of Energy, reiterated the country’s commitment to hosting Gastech 2026 in Bangkok. The team showcased Thailand’s event-management capacity and extended an invitation to industry leaders, policymakers and exhibitors, while underlining the country’s track record as a regional exhibition hub and its role in supporting large-scale international business events.
Bangkok venue, connectivity and projected economic impact
Bangkok’s BITEC (Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre) is slated as the Gastech 2026 venue and offers 70,000 sqm of event space across 10 exhibition halls, six grand convention halls and 28 breakout rooms, with direct BTS Skytrain access and more than 50 hotels along the BTS line for delegate accommodation. Suvarnabhumi Airport — served by 113 international airlines — was cited to demonstrate seamless global connectivity. Organisers anticipate the event to attract over 50,000 attendees from around 150 countries, approximately 1,000 exhibiting companies and 1,000 expert speakers.
