The 23rd MITM Americas takes place in October

The 23rd edition of MITM Americas, to be held from the 14th to the 17th of October in Havana, Cuba; offers a unique opportunity to experience the celebration of the 500 year anniversary of the city of Havana.

The event is sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism of Cuba, Gran Caribe Hotels & Resorts, Hotel Nacional de Cuba (venue of the event), Cubatur (official dmc) and Iberia. And the post tours are sponsored by Melia Hoteles, Iberostar Hotels and Muthu Hotels.

Caribbean Tours offers a tour through the Malecon Habanero in vintage cars from the 40s and 50s. You will discover the 4 colonial plazas in la Habana Vieja, UNCESCO´s World Heritage site and you will be able to enjoy firsthand an exclusive program specifically designed for MICE groups.

The event will culminate with a closing dinner in the gardens of the Hotel Nacional de Cuba, flagship of the Caribbean hotel industry and benchmark institution for meetings tourism in the American continent throughout the last century.

With the purpose of getting to know other destinations in the island, the 23 MITM Americas offers the possibility of participating in one of the post-tours that will take place after the appointment and networking programs in Havana. In this edition participants will be able to choose among 4 unique all-inclusive hotels to get to know the most exclusive beaches the Grater of The Antilles has to offer in one of our post tours: Meliá Internacional in Varadero, Grand Muthu in Cayo Guillermo, Gran Muthu Imperial Cayo Guillermo, with 3 nights from the 17th to the 20th of October; and Iberostar Selection Ensenachos in Cayo Santa María, with 2 nights from the 17th to the 19th of October.

Furthermore, participants in this edition will have the opportunity to benefit from MICE training courses aimed at professionals from the tourism industry, imparted by qualified professors from the prestigious Universidad de Nebrija, COCAL (Confederación de Organizadores de Congresos de America Latina) and Noun Eventos y Capacitacion Ejecutiva. The course has been specially designed to improve competence of companies in the sector.
