How do you think COVID-19 will change our industry, and what measures can be taken, in your opinion?
Honestly, especially this year has been almost a normal year – we are fortunate as we have been having many events, from international congresses to incentives and car launches, for example. There´s a lot of demand and our suppliers are doing an excellent job. The fact is that our industry is a resilient one. Despite the challenges we have faced, we all managed to find a way to keep in contact and to be ready to continue our jobs and businesses, so when the time came we slowly but steadily continued the events organization with success. As an example, we have had Eccmid (European Congress of Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases) in Lisboa in April with 12,000 pax.

Did you know, that…?
Lisboa is one of the leading event destinations in the world?
Lisboa was recognized and ranked by ICCA in 2019 and in 2021 with the 2nd position worldwide and with ICCA's Destination Performance Index 2021 respectively, Value for Money – placed among the European major cities with most competitive prices and service quality?
Lisboa is an experienced host, with high-quality hotels, venues, and restaurants and highly skilled PCO´s and DMC´s?
Lisboa is friendly, safe, and tolerant by tradition? We make people feel at home.
