Vilnius is preparing to host several high-profile events and strategic developments. The European Disability Forum will convene key stakeholders at EDF 2025 to discuss the rights and accessibility of persons with disabilities across the EU. The city has also secured the hosting rights for the 19th BPW Europe Regional Conference and Young BPW Symposium in 2028. This event will draw 600 business leaders, policymakers, academics, and young women leaders to Vilnius.

In addition, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) World Coaches Conference will welcome more than 600 tennis coaches and experts from 29–31 October 2025. On the sports front, the European Mountain Bike Orienteering Championships (EMTBOC) will be held from 14–18 May 2025, hosting over 250 elite athletes from 20 European nations.

Strategic Growth and Global Connectivity

Complementing these events, Wizz Air is launching a new direct flight connection between Budapest and Vilnius. The service is starting 30 June, with three weekly flights. The city has also been recognized with the Best Foreign Direct Investment Strategy award in fDi’s Mid-Sized European Cities of the Future 2025 ranking. These initiatives collectively reinforce Vilnius’s rising status as a destination for major international conferences, sporting events, and strategic investments.
