Vilnius. The Lithuanian capital will welcome over 400 of the world‘s top experts and researchers in atomic, molecular and optical physics for a six-day conference to be held at Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva, between 24th -29th July 2022.
The Vilnius’ bid was fronted by Professor Gediminas Juzeliūnas from the Vilnius University with the support of Go Vilnius, the city’s tourism and business development agency.
“We are delighted to have won the bid to bring the ECAMP’14 to Vilnius. Undoubtedly it will be a massive boost for Lithuania‘s physics. This large-scale conference will be a great space for experts in different fields of physics to engage in discourses, develop new scientific ideas, and forge stronger relationships,” says Juzeliūnas.

The achievements of our scientists are recognized worldwide and it is great news for the city that ESP has decided to bring such a significant conference to Vilnius in 2022. ECAMP’14 will be the first major international conference on atoms, molecules and photons of this scale to be hosted in Lithuania and is expected to bring over EUR 800,000 economic benefit to Vilnius.
