VisitBritain and PCMA have teamed up to deliver the first ever #Greatdebate at PCMA Convening Leaders conference in Austin, Texas. It will be held at the Austin Convention Center on January 10th.

The debate will tackle the topical issue of “How geopolitics & global economics alter the course of business”, with key industry figures providing insight into the macro trends set to affect the events industry across the world.

VisitBritain Head of Business Visits & Events Chris Foy said: “As a world-leading events destination with global connections, there’s a natural fit for Britain to be aligned with this signature thought leadership session. We strongly value our alignment with PCMA and recognise how debates of this type can contribute to developing professionalism among event strategists. We are rightly proud of the high standards demonstrated by the UK event industry and confident in our ability to deliver world class business events. With global connections to great venues, a hub of leading international event professionals and world-renowned research in top universities and centres of excellence, Britain is a natural home for meetings of great minds”.

VisitBritain is co-hosting the #Greatdebate as part of its wider campaign to inspire event organisers across the world to choose Britain as a destination for business events.
