The 44th edition of World Travel Market London concluded with an 11% increase in pre-qualified buyers and a record number of exhibitors. The event attracted 46,316 attendees, marking a 6% rise from the previous year.

World Travel Market London 2024, held from November 5–7 at ExCeL London, saw a remarkable 11% increase in pre-qualified buyers compared to 2023. A total of 5,049 world-class buyers participated in the event, an addition of nearly 500 over the previous year. Overall attendance rose to 46,316, with many professionals attending for multiple days. To accommodate the growing interest, the event expanded its footprint by 8%, utilizing new halls featuring larger conference stages and enhanced hospitality spaces.

Focus on Positive Change and Future Trends

The 2024 event centered on the theme of ‘Travelpower,’ emphasizing how industry players can drive meaningful transformation. Over 200 expert speakers delivered 70 sessions addressing key topics such as sustainability, DEAI (Diversity, Equity, Accessibility & Inclusion), technology, and geo-economics. Highlighting the industry’s strength, 80 first-time exhibitors joined this year, including brands like KOS Island, Riyadh Air, and Latvia Travel. Juliette Losardo, Exhibition Director, celebrated the event’s success, noting: “What an incredible three days it’s been coming together as one global tourism community. In an event packed full of knowledge, ideas, camaraderie and enthusiasm, we’ve planted the seeds for an exciting year ahead, one filled with positive change.”
