Mobile apps. Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Company (ADNEC) launched its new smartphone applications. These expand the company’s digital communication channels allowing it to reach a wide range of audiences and stakeholders interested in keeping up with the latest developments in the MICE sector. Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of ADNEC, said last Monday during the launch ceremony: “With the launch of these easy-to-use applications, ADNEC will strengthen its communications and bond with visitors to the events and exhibitions held here.” The new smartphone applications will provide the latest information and event-related news to the public using a clear and easy-to-use calendar, with the option of receiving news feed updates from ADNEC. There are applications available for 3G–enabled smart phones such as iPhones, Blackberry and Android phones, making it available to the widest possible audience. The applications give user access to ADNEC’s event calendar, news, and the latest updates directly on their mobile phones. Users can also browse the company’s photo gallery and video channel, or contact ADNEC directly through the application.
