Global exhibitions organiser ibtm events has opened Hosted Buyer Applications for ibtm america 2017, taking place at the Diplomat Beach Resort in South Florida this year, from 14-16 June.
ibtm america is an innovative "pod" format event in North America for the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events (MICE) industry, providing qualified Hosted Buyers with a personalised itinerary of 1:1 meetings with pre-selected exhibitors. Last years’ event in Nashville achieved a 97% satisfaction rate from Hosted Buyers and a 96% satisfaction rate from exhibitors.

The three day programme kicks off with a "Discovery Day" designed to bring Hosted Buyers and exhibitors together in an informal and relaxed social environment to explore the local destination ahead of the 1:1 meetings taking place. Attendees can take part in multiple breakout sessions with industry experts invited to share knowledge and best practice. In addition, a full educational programme will include a host of speakers from across the industry, delivering sessions designed specifically to support business success. Attending 30 appointments over three days, the select group of Hosted Buyers who qualify through the application process will also have access to a full itinerary of networking and immersive events.
