The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) has announced that its 64th annual Congress will be hosted in Porto. Scheduled to include a multitrack programme in various locations across the city, the event continues ICCA’s series of yearly gatherings for professionals in the international meetings and events sector.

Focus on Education, Networking, and Venue Integration

Following last year’s Congress in Abu Dhabi, which recorded attendance from over 1,500 delegates representing more than 80 countries, the 2025 edition will introduce a new format. Designed to increase engagement, the agenda integrates educational sessions with location-based activities in Porto. ICCA leadership and local organisers highlight the city’s infrastructure and cultural setting as contributing factors in hosting the event.
