Cvent, a meetings, events and hospitality technology company, today announced the purchase of Prismm, which offers online 3D diagramming and virtual site-visit tools. Prismm’s platform allows venue operators, event planners and service providers to collaborate on floor plans and space layouts in a shared virtual environment.

Key capabilities and applications

• Venue operators can use Prismm to create and share interactive floor plans, reduce onsite planning time and offer prospective clients virtual tours.
• Event planners can conduct accurate space assessments, adjust layouts before events and streamline the sourcing process via online diagramming.
• All users benefit from cloud-based collaboration, enabling multiple stakeholders to view and edit event designs simultaneously.

Jim Abramson, Cvent Vice President of Product Management, said the integration of Prismm will simplify event planning workflows and help venues maximise group-business revenue. Yaron Lipshitz, CEO of Prismm, noted that combining Prismm’s design features with Cvent’s platform will extend access to 3D event-diagramming across the industry.
