New Board Members Elected at CityDNA Conference

During the City Destinations Alliance International Conference in Budapest on April 9, 2025, over 250 industry professionals gathered for the general assembly and elected new Board Members, Vice-Presidents, and a Treasurer.

At the event held as part of the CityDNA Conference & General Assembly, members of the City Destinations Alliance voted and confirmed several leadership positions for a three-year term. Patrick Bontinck (Brussels) and Sabine Schwanz (Madrid) were re-elected as Vice-Presidents, while Patrik Romano (Bologna) was confirmed as Treasurer. Additionally, Łukasz Wysocki (Gdańsk) was newly elected as a Board Member and Miguel Angel Pérez (Valencia) was re-elected for another term.

Long-standing Board Members, including Maya Janssen (Amsterdam), Gerry Lennon (Belfast), Gary Breen (Dublin), Susanne Höller (Graz), Michaela Podoláková (Košice), and Jurgen Moors (Maastricht), continue in their roles, maintaining a blend of fresh perspectives and established leadership across the Alliance.

Strategic Leadership and Global Collaboration

The new Board composition reflects the Alliance’s ongoing commitment to supporting members, driving collaboration, and positioning European destinations as resilient and forward-looking hubs. In a statement, Barbara Jamison-Woods, President of the City Destinations Alliance, noted that the updated leadership structure combines new energy with proven experience, ensuring the continuous enhancement of member value and effective participation in the global meetings and tourism industry.
