Kuala Lumpur. Hosting royalty is definitely an honour for anyone, and it was no different for the team of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (the Centre). The team were excited to say the least when Their Royal Highnesses, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (BMCC) luncheon held in their honour at the Centre in conjunction with their recent visit to Malaysia.
?We were absolutely delighted to welcome Their Royal Highnesses to the Centre and the staff and myself included, were ecstatic to catch a glimpse of the royals. It was a privilege to serve them,? said a beaming Datuk Peter Brokenshire, General Manager, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
The occasion saw some 1,200 members of the business fraternity, ministers and senior government representatives in attendance. Their Royal Highnesses were in Malaysia as part of a nine-day Asia-Pacific tour to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee.
