2018 marks the 20th year in the business for the Indian meetings industry specialist CIMGlobal. The company which was founded, in 1997 by Prasant Saha, started developing association management, meeting management, and corporate activation services for the Indian market.

After opening offices in 7 Indian cities CIMGlobal expanded to Dubai, Singapore and London. In the beginning of 2014 Congrex Holland BV was acquired together with the local management – joining the expanding CIMGlobal network in Europe.

“The very first job we did was organising the Indian Science Congress in the late 90s. Back then, events like that were very much focussed on speakers, standing at a lectern, delivering a speech. That still works, of course, but now we can do so much more. Technology has allowed us to bring a conference to life with curated digital content that totally zeroes in on what matters for each event and each customer”, says CEO Prasant Saha.
