The European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ECCMID) will hold its 28th edition in Madrid on from April 21st to 24th 2018. The major meeting on infectious diseases and clinical microbiology will take place at the North Convention Center and Halls 8, 9 and 10 at the fairgrounds of IFEMA.

The event expects 12,000 attendees from 130 countries to participate. The congress will feature more than 200 sessions.As a special highlight, the keynote address will include presentations by the Nobel Prize laureate as well as a talk on the Spanish influenza on its 100th anniversary.
