Netherlands. The 2012 Annual Conference and General Assembly of the International Association of Congress Centres AIPC will take place in Amsterdam from 1 to 4 July 2012. Under the overall theme of “Strategies for Success and Survival” the conference will be covering three component areas – information, context and action – with a combination of global perspective, industry-specific research, updates from related sectors and insights from colleagues around the world to develop the most comprehensive possible picture of what’s happening and what centre executives can do about it. “With global economic uncertainties ongoing, and centres everywhere facing related challenges, I cannot stress enough how important it is for you to join with colleagues to compare experiences and strategies for centre advancement”, says Edgar Hirt, AIPC President. The registration is now open until 11 June.
