During the 25th Borsa Internazionale Del Turismo Congressuale Ed Incentives (BTC) in the beginning of November, Minister of Tourism Michela Vittoria Brambilla announced the first Italian convention bureau, coming by the end of 2009. Similar to last year, 425 companies exhibited on 17.000 sqm, among them 20 per cent international enterprises. 13 Italian regions, 60 hotel groups, over 40 CVBs and 18 DMCs presented themselves to 6.000 visitors. The 400 hosted buyers arrived from 21 countries, e.g. Germany, Spain, Poland, USA and the Netherlands. www.btc.it
