Claire Smith, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Vancouver Convention Centre (VCC), has been appointed as the 2018 Professional Convention Management Association’s (PCMA) Board Chair. Smith functions as the first-ever supplier, Canadian and non-US-based Chair of PCMA’s Board of Directors.

She has been on PCMA’s Board of Directors for four years now, and co-chaired the Vancouver PCMA Convening Leaders Conference in 2016. As the VCC’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, she takes care of strategic business development, leading and directing the sales, marketing and communications team, and positioning the facility in the global marketplace.
