Money20/20. The world’s largest conference covering payments and financial service innovation, Money 20/20, organised by i2i Events Group, has chosen Copenhagen as the host city for the first European event taking place in 2016. The inaugural Money20/20 Europe will take place at Bella Center 5-7 April 2016. The three-day conference is expected to draw more than 3,000 delegates to the Danish capital. Money20/20 is a recurring event that will be held in Copenhagen again in 2017.
Money20/20 first saw the light of day in Las Vegas where the conference will attract more than 10,000 delegates this year, including over 1,000 CEOs and thousands more decision-makers, entrepreneurs etc. within the payments and financial services sector, representing 3,000 organizations and 75 countries.
During the most recent conference in October 2014, Money20/20 announced a plan to expand their portfolio with a European event in 2016. Since the announcement, Wonderful Copenhagen has worked with Bella Center and network organization Copenhagen Fintech Innovation and Research (CFIR) to secure the conference to Copenhagen.
