Big Worldwide. Meeting and Incentive Forums are intensive trade shows focusing on the meetings, incentives, conferences and events industries in Europe, the USA and Asia. The Forums, which run over four days with buyers choosing which two days to attend, offer a minimum of 50 pre-scheduled, one-to-one appointments between top MICE suppliers and key meeting and incentive buyers, all of whom have confirmed budgets to spend.

The dates for 2010 are as follows:

– Asian Meeting & Incentive Forum Spring, April 25 – 27 Bangkok, Thailand
– European Meeting & Incentive Forum Spring, June 15 – 19, Madrid, Spain
– Asian Meeting & Incentive Forum Autumn, September 12 – 14, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
– USA Meeting & Incentive Forum, September 19 – 23, Florida, USA
– European Meeting & Incentive Forum Autumn, October 26 – 30, Cannes, France

Designed to focus on business, the events also aim to be enjoyable and provide a variety of opportunities to build business relationships including drinks receptions, gala dinners and networking activities. A wide range of suppliers are represented at each event to meet with carefully selected MICE buyers from different regions.

Previous suppliers include The Dorchester Collection, Baglioni Hotels, Lucien Barrière Hotels and Visit London. Buyers include American Express, Coca Cola, Siemens, Grass Roots, CWT and Nike. Peter Schmid from ConferenceWise attended the European Meeting & Incentive Forum Autumn 2009 as a buyer – “The M&I Forum in the Algarve was not only a resounding success but probably the best organised event that I have been fortunate to attend – many other companies can learn a lot from this.”

Daniela Pastorelli from Gran Meliá Salinas also attended as a supplier – “It was our first time at an M&I Forum and we were really impressed by the quality of the buyers, the organisation and the networking. The balance between one-on-one meetings and networking was ideal and the four-day programme for hoteliers was very dynamic. We received four requests onsite and a couple more just after, so we have already integrated the M&I Forums in our 2010 budgets!” For more information on Meeting & Incentive Forums or to register as a buyer or supplier, visit www.mi-forums.com.
